Oncotarget: Bringing Scientific Information Close to You

We are a free weekly multi-disciplinary journal. The journal was founded in 2010 and publishes different online papers on different topics touching on medical discoveries, and each issue can be printed on special requests. Our publications intend to make scientific discoveries accessible widely to anyone who is interested in them.

At Oncotarget we facilitate swift sharing of outstanding scientific discoveries and aim to maximize the impact of research through perceptive reviews. We also aim at enabling the linkage between various biomedical fields and break the barriers between different specialties to bring research findings into a common understanding and learn more about Oncotarget.

Our journal is led by a group of prominent scientists who have realized the need to help other deserving researchers make their special contributions to the field of science without any barriers. In order to ensure that the information relayed is factual and meets all scientific criteria, we employ the services of highly qualified editors. We ensure that our editors adhere to COPE’s Code of Conduct and Practice Guidelines and Oncotarget lacrosse camp.

Evaluation of manuscripts is utterly based on their scientific competence regardless of the authors, creed, religious orientation, gender, race, ethnicity, or political affiliation. Our editors are very discreet about their job and do not disclose any information pertaining to any manuscript submissions to any third parties. The only people who have access to the information are only the authors, editorial board team, and potential reviewers and read full article.

Our editorial team is under the able leadership of Mr. Blagosklonny, the chief editor, and his counterpart, Andrei V. Gudkov. Mr. Blagosklonny has extensive knowledge in editorial work and has published over 250 articles. He is so passionate about research with interests ranging from clinical investigations to molecular and cellular biology.

Our publication is comprised of different sections. Some of them include; gerotarget, Pathology, Immunology and microbiology, Chromosome and Autophagy and Cell Death.

Gerotarget is concerned on topics touching on aging issues such as research on cellular senescence, signal transduction pathways, the influence of genetics on aging and aging mechanisms, anti-aging ways and other age-related issues and more information click here.

Immunology and Microbiology section publishes research papers touching on clinical and elementary research such as signal transduction, cytokines, immune cell development, adaptive and innate adaptability, among many others.

The Chromosome segment publishes research papers touching on high-impact papers discoveries with profound significance in basic research. It is centered mainly on search areas as Meiosis and Recombination, Comparative Genomics, Genome Engineering, Mitosis, and Cytokinesis, among others.
