Kristen Stewart Wins Big

For a while, Twilight was a movie sensation that was sweeping the world. The series now, however, is done and over with. Many loved it, the same amount may have hated it, and some were indifferent. The same can be said for the lead actress, Kristen Stewart. Before this franchise, she was little known. After, her fame skyrocketed. Now, she’s making headlines again for a different reason.

According to BBC News Kristen Stewart has become the first U.S. Actress to win a prestigious French award said Dan Newlin. She has taken home a Cesar award which is the French version of an Oscar. So while the stars of Hollywood are still reeling from this years Oscars, Kristin Stewart is enjoying her version of it. She won it for a little known film called Clouds of Sils Maria. When she accepted the award, she yelled “I love you!” She even said she prefers the way the French make films compared to the Americans. Congratulations, Kristin. It’s nice seeing that there is life after Twilight.
