Atlanta Hawk Team sell team to the Antony Ressler and Grant Hill Group

The ownership group of the Atlanta Hawks is in its final stages in finalizing the sale of the team to Antony Ressler’s group. Antony is an investment fund manager and equity billionaire. This information was leaked to ESPN by three people familiar with the sales process. The individuals requested obscurity because they were not sanctioned to speak about the process before it was complete publicly.

The Antony Ressler’s group, which included former NBA players Jesse Itzler and Grant Hill, Marquis Jet co-founder, is buying the Atlanta Hawks from Michael Gearon Jnr., Bruce Levenson, and other investors in the deal for $850 million.

Itzler’s wife, Spanx founder, and Rice partner Rick Schnall & Clayton Dubilier and Steven Starker, BTIG co-founder are part of the group headed by Ressler. NBA owners will approve the sale process of the team but are expected.

On Wednesday evening, the Hawks announced the sealing of the deal. We are extremely thrilled and honored to be chosen as the new stewards of the Atlanta Hawks team, Said Ressler in a statement. We respect the approval of NBA, therefore, can say less than we are excited by the success of the Atlanta Hawks so far and support them in their next playoffs.

Irwin Raij, Foley & Lardner law representative, facilitated the entire sales process and other sports franchise, said that the sale price is one of the strongest in the market. This price reflects NBA’s product strength and what can become of the market views, said the attorney. This will take into account the local and national media deals and the increasing trend in NBA teams’ valuations. This price will be viewed positively in the market. Gearon, UCG founder  Bruce Levenson, and other members purchased the Hawks and the Philips Arena operating rights for $250 million in 2004, and the Thrashers were sold in 2011 for $170 million.

Brilliant Marketing Or Do-gooder? It Doesn’t Matter. Hippeas Are Good For Everyone!

There’s a new food product on the market that is targeting millennials and harkening back to the days of the hippie. The brightly colored packaging of each snack bag is even based on the archetypal hippie smiling face, but with a twist. The sly smile on each bag is a different color which indicates a different flavor. The flavors include vegan cheddar, Sriracha sunshine, maple haze, pepper power, happenin’ hickory and far out fajita.

But this food product is not based solely on the hippie culture, it is also an appeal to the well educated millennial. Millennial’s have the entire world of information at their fingertips, commonly using smart phones to get information on any product. And it’s well-known that millennial’s are also aware of the impact they make on others and the environment. That’s why the marketing for Hippeas is so powerful and intelligent.

Hippeas chickpea-based snacks are something like a cheese puff and a potato chip, except it’s mostly made out of chickpea. And with the click of a few buttons and a data connection, their target audience can discover just how sustainable the chickpea is. The plant makes the soil it grows in more fertile by infusing the ground with nitrogen, one of the three macro-nutrients a plant needs to grow.

These snacks aren’t just for tree huggers because the marketing, designed by CEO Livio Bisterzo, is a bit cheeky. Each product has a bit of a bite to it in the style of marketing humor so the buyer feels young and hip. But that’s not the only reason a consumer would feel good about Hippeas.

Packed with protein and fiber, each snack is vegan, gluten free, non-GMO, organic, Kosher and contains no MSG. It’s actually good for you and the planet, but it doesn’t stop there. Information-hungry consumers can also find out how helpful Hippeas owner is, Green Park Holdings, who have partnered with Farm Africa, an organization that helps farmers in Eastern Africa.

This is all by design. CEO Livio Bisterzo used to run a juice and tea company that he took to 18 different countries. His experience in the sustainable food industry is invaluable. He doesn’t just do these things as a marketing gimmick, his company is committed to changing the world through the food and beverage industry.

A Beauty Blogger Tried Cleansing Conditioner from WEN by Chaz Dean for a Week and Here’s What Happened

Maybe you have heard of cleansing conditioner. Maybe you haven’t. If you haven’t heard about WEN hair cleansing conditioner, it is a product meant to replace up to five of your regularly used hair care products, including: shampoo, conditioner, detangler, deep conditioner, and leave-in conditioner.

WEN by Chaz Dean’s line of cleansing conditioners come in several varieties as well. But the question is, does WEN’s cleansing conditioner work?

Emily McClure, beauty blogger and hair product enthusiast, put WEN’s cleansing conditioner to the test in a week-long experiment with her fine hair. As anyone with fine hair knows, finding the right products to leave fine hair clean, soft, and shiny, without leaving it greasy can be difficult, to say the least.

Of course, like with any experiment, there were a few concerns and possible mishaps, the first of which being the sheer amount of product called for as per Wen hair instructions. As fine hair and copious amounts of product don’t generally mix, Emily balked slightly when faced with the gratuitous amount of product but carried on bravely any way.

Her second concern came when she hit a bump in her routine. Showering at night with WEN’s cleansing conditioner left her waking up with less than stellar results. So she switched to a morning routine and that solved that problem.

By the end of the week, Emily felt like her hair was softer and looked fuller, and her friends took note of how shiny and healthy it looked.

So would she recommend WEN’s cleansing conditioner for fine hair? The bottom line is yes, she would, though she also recommends it for use with a morning routine.

Ready to take the plunge and combine all those hair products into one? Try Sweet Almond Mint Cleansing Conditioner from WEN by Chaz Dean here for yourself. George Soros’s Philanthropic Spirit

In an article published at http://www.thedailybeast.com/topics/george-soros.html, Ben Collins investigates the rumors surrounding George Soros’s involvement with Black Lives Matter Movement. Noting the conservative media’s coverage of the connection between George Soros and the Black Lives Matter movement, the article specifically mentions the promotion of the rumor on The Bill O’Reilly Show and on the American Thinker website. Allegedly, Soros contributed $33 million dollars in financing to the Black Lives Matter movement. The article states that a guest from The Washington Times discussed George Soros’s connection to left-wing organizations on The O’Reilly Factor. The connection was alluded to because the three women who are believed to have started the Black Lives Matter movement worked for organizations owned by Soros. However, the article goes on to point out that a director at Soros’ philanthropic organization claims that Soros never gave any money to any of the three women. Furthermore, the director of U.S. programs at Soros’s Open Society Foundation claims to not even know how to begin to understand how the connection was made or how the rumor got started. The article then goes on to discuss how George Soros’ fundraising efforts on behalf of Hilary Clinton may have led to such speculation, but that Soros or any Soros owned organization is not in the business of funding protest movements.

George Soros is a left-leaning intellectual who has a long history of practical philanthropic involvement. Soros’s philanthropic history has spanned the globe. According to the website for his Open Society Foundation, in 1979 he provided scholarships to black South Africans who were living under apartheid, and in the 1980’s he gave countries in the Eastern Bloc Xerox machines so that banned texts could be copied. Continuing in his almost grass roots organizing efforts for what he believes to be a better world, he developed Central European University to help expand and promote critical thinking in Europe once the Berlin Wall came down. This list barely scratches the surface of his altruistic involvements however. George Soros’ foundation Open Society has also helped people being held unlawfully throughout the world obtain legal representation, and his organization has helped students who were either unable to afford an education or who were living in conditions that kept them from pursuing educations to obtain educations. It seems clear that George Soros is someone who acts when he sees what he believes to be injustice in the world.
